Over the last few months, Anglo says it has established steel reinforcement prices that are already reported to be saving one fabricator £120,000 this year.

The supplier is now urging UK window manufacturers to compare and fix their own heavily discounted steel costs for the rest of 2026 using its online quotation system.

Anglo has committed to confirming savings of between 17 and 37% on steel reinforcement costs. According to Anglo, this forms part of a targeted campaign to ensure fabricators get through the rest of 2026 with a degree of predictability in a ‘volatile and unpredictable market’.

Paul Sullivan, managing director of Anglo, said:

“As part of the Amari Metal Engineering Group (AMEG), Anglo has significant global buying power. Using these extensive resources we have created a pricing structure that can guarantee you monthly savings no matter what profile system you use. We also guarantee you comparable reinforcements which are like for like in terms of quality and performance.

“This gives you operational stability and consistency, protects your profit margins, and promises no impact on finished product quality and performance – it’s a no brainer for fabricators across the UK.”

Anglo offers an online portal that allows fabricators to select the profile system that they manufacture, and generate a like for like quote.

“By fixing that quote with us straight away, the fabricator will stabilise its steel reinforcement costs for the rest of 2026, no matter what world prices do,” stated Paul.

Market forecasting groups warn that steel pricing could rise sharply in the short-term due to emerging market drivers such as trade measures and regulatory changes – putting further upward pressure on reinforcement costs.

All Steels predicts UK and EU steel prices could increase by as much as £80 per tonne, with even steeper rises later in 2026 once protective frameworks take effect.

“Anglo has worked hard for 20 years to create a stable and safe trading environment for UK fabricators regardless of what is going on in the world,” said Paul. “Our ultimate aim is to firstly guarantee product performance, regardless of the claims made by systems houses, and secondly help fabricators make their money go further in a hostile marketplace with significant cost savings.

“This will allow you to continue to quote confidently and competitively for the rest of the year, concentrating on what is important to you – getting windows out of the door and into buildings.”
