Vista has collaborated with flood prevention company StormMeister to bring security and peace of mind to the owners of dozens of homes devastated by bad weather in December of 2015.
The Boxing Day floods in Yorkshire left thousands of homes without power across Yorkshire and Lancashire after five inches of rain fell in a single day.
Places for People, one of the UK’s largest property management companies, contacted StormMeister, whose Active Flood Seal, made with Vista’s PVCU infill panel, offers water protection.
The company has now refurbished more than 70 properties in the most at risk areas along the Calder River.
Vista business development manager Ian Smith said: “[We] have been able to develop a unique product that will help ensure people who were devastated by the 2015 floods never have to go through that traumatic experience again.”
