The sky’s the limit

Sunsquare has launched Aero Dual, which has been designed for applications where a large opening to the roof is needed but roof space is limited.

Instead of a conventional sliding mechanism, it has two panels that open independently to 90º, allowing for a maximum opening area, with a minimal footprint. It also features UV-neutral, laminated glass.

Mark Lambert, sales director at Sunsquare, said: “We designed the Aero Dual because our customers wanted all the benefits of an access rooflight, without losing valuable roof space. The two synchronised, hinged panes can be operated at the touch of a button and provide a unique, space-saving solution.

“Because it features laminated glass, it’s also the safest flat-roof skylight on the market, backed by a 25-year unit seal warranty.”

Sunsquare’s flat-roof skylights hold the BSI (British Standards Institution) Kitemark, and can be made to any specification and size up to 4.6m2.

The Aero Dual is fully thermally broken, with its frame incorporating three separate runs of polyamide insulating sections to provide an effective barrier between internal and external temperatures.
