Door range expands
SGM Windows recently added Distinction Doors’ 70mm and nxt-gen composite door ranges to its product portfolio.
Stuart Bull, director of Essex-based SGM Windows, said: “Composite doors are the number one entrance door of choice with consumers and we wanted to make sure our portfolio offered the latest in door designs to take advantage of this.”
Distinction’s 70mm composite door is a double rebated door.
“The 70mm door is over 50% thicker which makes it a much easier sell into the consumer as they can visibly see the difference and therefore understand the energy efficient benefits of the door straightaway,” Stuart said.
“Nxt-gen doors have a sleek and elegant finish that’s unique to the market, giving installers something different to sell. The glazing system sits flush within the frame which replicates the aesthetics of a traditional timber door.”
Both composite door ranges are manufactured in SGM’s 25,000ft2 fabrication plant in Basildon, Essex.
