Staffordshire-based manufacturer, Comp Door, has been announced as a finalist in the Staffordshire University Business Awards in the Growth Award category.

The Growth Award specifically recognises businesses of all sizes that have achieved exceptional growth in terms of recruitment, financial development, innovation, and the ability to maintain long-term success.

According to Comp Door, its nomination is a result of a ‘steadfast dedication’ to development and reinvestment. In a significant milestone reached by the company in June 2023, Comp Door’s staff has expanded to 50, an increase of 100% from 12 months earlier.

Strategic investments in cutting-edge technology and machinery have also increased the company’s production capabilities. Currently, Comp Door manufactures over 50 doors a day, with the aim of eventually doubling this rate in the next few months. The company is said to be on schedule to achieve this ‘in the very near future’.
