Aluplast has launchedJet Black, its ‘true black’ finish.
Available with immediate effect, the new foil offering has been designed to provide an alternative to palisander black, offering a true matt black finish.
Ian Cocken, director of sales and marketing at Aluplast, said: “Anyone working in retail will know that in certain lights, Palisander black has a tendency to look more like a dark brown, which can leave homeowners disappointed. Our development of a true Jet Blackfinish provides installers with an alternative, and a genuine opportunity to up-sell. With a matt finish it also offers an excellent match to aluminium systems and is part of the continuing development of our colour and foil offer.”
The German systems househas invested heavily in its colour and finish offer, including the supply of non-standard and dual colour foils within 15 working days. This included the launch last year of Woodec, Aluplast’s next generation foil, which replicates the natural appearance of timber while combining it with the through-life advantages of PVCU.
“We’re not alone in recognising the critical importance that finish and foils have in driving the replacement-of-replacements,” Ian said.“It’s a key point of differentiation. Where we are different is that our scale allows us to bring a highly competitive foils offer to fabricators and installers, underpinning that with a high degree of flexibility on orders and lead times.
As a true black – as opposed to simply a very dark brown – Jet Black delivers differentiation and the opportunity to addvalue to the end user and, with it, margin at point of retail.”
