Seal of approval
Ritec International has been awarded ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001:2015 – the international quality and environmental standards for a company’s management systems covering its products and services.
The company’s route to certification involved an independent assessment of all internal systems, including production, sales order processing, purchasing, staff training, administration, and after sales support.
Ritec’s production manager Martin Burkett said: “Although our systems already met the required quality and management standard, the standards are also about continued improvement and highlighted areas where we could improve even further. For example, by detailing certain monitoring rather than just monitoring, this results in enhanced productivity, administration and our service to customers.
“ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 are great achievements, however we will not be resting on our laurels and believe it’s important for an international organisation such as ours to seek ever higher standards. We’ll be ensuring that orders are met consistently, and to the correct specification, motivating our staff to work towards continued improvement for the benefit of our business and our customers.”
