New rooflight

Roof Maker will be showcasing its new rooflight to installers, fabricators, housebuilders and construction professionals at the FIT Show.

Visitors can meet Roof Maker’s team of engineers to find out how its latest product can offer easy installation, short lead times and greater design flexibility when working with renovation projects, the company said.

Throughout the event, Roof Maker’s Luxlite range of pitched rooflights will also be exhibited, which allow up to 49% more light to enter a room than traditional framed pitched rooflights thanks to its ‘frameless’ design.

Roof Maker’s circular O-lite and Walk On rooflights, along with its patented Slimline roof lantern, will also be on view across the three days. Featuring ultra slim glazing bars, the Slimline roof lantern features a quick installation method that is supported by the option of a flat pack build, eliminating the requirement of a crane.

The Slimline lantern also features an integrated insulated upstand and is available with a 20-year unit seal guarantee, due to its glass unit seals, which are 80% deeper than other rooflights.

Also available is Roof Maker’s Passive House accredited Fixed Flat rooflight. Recommended by the Passive House Trust, it is triple glazed as standard with a U-value as low as 0.2W/m2K, achieved by the stepped glass unit.

On show will also be Roof Maker’s range of RAL options for its aluminium frames, along with a range of glazing options including tints and patterns.

Vanessa Howard, chief marketing officer at Roof Maker, said: “Exhibiting at FIT Show 2019 provides us with the ideal platform to showcase our new rooflight to professionals, while providing the perfect opportunity to meet with potential customers to see how we can help support their upcoming construction projects.

“Here at Roof Maker we’re dedicated to the continuous development of high quality and innovative rooflights that support professionals in creating the most energy efficient and aesthetically pleasing constructions possible.”
