New Marketplace feature for FIT 2025

FIT Show has launched a new Marketplace feature at its upcoming 2025 event (Birmingham NEC 29 April – 1 May) to allow visitors, particularly installers, to purchase tools and ancillary products directly at the show for the first time.

The Marketplace will feature a range of renowned brands, including:

• Xpert Tools: The most recognised glazing hand tool brand among installers
• Blakeley Construction Profiles
• ER Certification
• CT1
• Camel Clamp

The Marketplace will be strategically located next to the Installer Demo Zone, where live demonstrations will showcase these tools in action across all three days of the show.

John Warburton from ER Certification, commented: “We’re thrilled to be part of the new Marketplace at FIT Show 2025. It’s the ideal platform to showcase our Certification Schemes to the large numbers of fabricators and installers attending. We’ll be demonstrating our new Energy Performance Scheme, the PLC Scheme, which we launched in 2024.

“We invite fabricators, installers, and system suppliers to visit our stand for a demo of the scheme and see how it can be a valuable resource for them and their clients. We’ll have two demo TVs where visitors can explore our new PLC Scheme Website, allowing them to run through the filtering process to find exact specifications of products they need for their contracts.

“Our scheme is cost-effective, giving certified companies the chance to cover all their windows and doors, across all materials, at a low flat rate fee. We expect to be busy throughout the three days of the show, demonstrating the value and efficiency of our certification process.”

Tuscany Diffey, Blakeley Construction Profiles, added: “We’re excited to be part of the FIT Show Marketplace to showcase our unique offering – any product in any colour. With our in-house spray paint facility, we provide PVC and aluminium trims, panels, and other goods in bespoke colours. Visitors to our stand will see our range of coloured fascia, soffit, cladding, rainwater goods, and trims. We encourage people to come and discover a specialist supplier who fills a niche gap in the window and door industry. It’s a great opportunity to see samples of our unique product offering and explore how we can meet their specific colour needs.”
