Balls2 Marketing has been named finalists in three categories for the CIPR Midlands PRide Awards 2019, as well as senior account manager Lauren Doyle also being nominated for Outstanding Young Communicator.

Derby-based agency Balls2 Marketing are up for: Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy: Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy: and Construction, Property or Infrastructure Campaign for the launch of Certass Trade Association for local glazing installers.

“It’s always great to be a finalist for a PRide Award,” Sarah Ball, client strategy director at Balls2 Marketing, said. “So, to be on the shortlist for three is just fantastic.

“These awards recognise outstanding work delivered to clients and employers across the Midlands and to be a finalist really does prove that you’re an industry leader in your area, as well as giving the team a great boost.”

Sarah has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations for more than 10 years, serving as a volunteer committee member of CIPR Midlands since 2016.

“You really can’t underestimate the importance of CIPR for marketing professionals. Not only does it highlight the importance of ethics in all aspects of what we do, but the training courses they offer are key to helping your team grow as individuals.

“We’re particularly pleased that Lauren is a finalist in the Outstanding Young Communicator category. She really is a very talented and hard-working member of our team and it’s great that this has been recognised.”

Lauren started at Balls2 Marketing as PR Assistant in October 2014 and has advanced to her current position with the assistance of CIPR’s CPD scheme and qualifications.

“PRide Awards celebrate the best in PR and communications and it’s brilliant that I’m on the list, as well as the team being named finalists in the other three categories,” Lauren said.

Winners of the CIPR Midlands PRide Awards are selected by a team of leading industry experts and will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday September 27 at The Birmingham Conference and Events Centre.
