Driving down lead times

Endurance Doors says it is ‘driving down lead times’ for its solid core composite doors to five weeks, with plans to take this to a 12 working days standard following a sustained period where material supply, consumer demand and other social and economic factors have pushed times out considerably.

Endurance is said to have invested heavily over the last two years.

New business systems have been implemented including the new Amicus platform, which is designed to improve customer communications through an automated ticketing and tracking system, something that is reportedly used by trusted businesses in consumer facing sectors in the UK and beyond.

Stephen Nadin, managing director of Endurance Doors, commented: “Now that the supply chain has started to stablise we’re getting lead times down to five weeks and the plan is to get this to a 12 working day standard in the coming months. We’ve invested heavily in systems, process and capital equipment and have recruited well over this period too.

“We’ve also built relationships with local schools and colleges and have a proactive capital investment programme to support further growth, after a year in which we’ve grown 85%. 2022 will be a year in which we’re investing more than ever in the overall customer experience and are already recruiting for further members of our customer care team to help make us a standout business in the sector.”
