Ahead of the curve

When Charles Richards and Jimmy Chorley set up Arcoframe in 2003, their ambition was clear: to bring high-quality, curved and arched PVC frames to the UK fenestration industry.
Operating out of a modest 6,500ft² factory with just three employees, they built the business on a foundation of quality craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. More than two decades later, that same ethos continues to drive Arcoframe’s success.
Today, the company employs 38 skilled staff and has recently expanded into an adjoining 13,000ft² facility, complete with additional mezzanine floor space to accommodate growing demand. With its investment in state-of-the-art technology, Arcoframe has firmly positioned itself as a leading name in bespoke PVC-U profile bending services.
From half-opening circular windows to fully assembled arched composite door frames, the company’s reputation for precision and reliability has made it a trusted partner across the industry.
Nationwide reach

Supported by a fleet of four Mercedes Sprinter vans, Arcoframe delivers products nationwide. Its ability to bend and shape PVC profiles seamlessly ensures frames not only meet technical specifications but also achieve the aesthetic finish customers expect. The company supplies across a wide range of profile systems, including Rehau, Aluplast, Veka, Halo, Liniar and Deceuninck, while offering a profile collection service, technical advice, and even glass templates on request.
Recent figures highlight just how resilient Arcoframe has been, despite market challenges. Turnover in June and July 2025 was 26% higher than the same period last year. Commenting on this performance, managing director Charles Richards said: “The increase in sales is a very encouraging sign and tells me our products and reputation is going from strength to strength.”
Arcoframe’s capabilities stretch far beyond the average. Its arched frames for doors and windows are manufactured to the highest standards, with the option to supply arched door frames fully assembled with a composite door to simplify installation. The business is also recognised as one of the UK’s largest suppliers of angled frames, with its expert team ensuring frames fit perfectly first time.
In addition, the company produces a wide variety of circular PVC windows – fixed, opening, or full pivot.
These bespoke designs are manufactured with exacting attention to detail, as evidenced by a recent project that saw the creation of a circular Rehau profile window measuring just 290mm in diameter.
As a forward-thinking manufacturer, Arcoframe is equally focused on sustainability. Recycling initiatives across the business ensure all waste materials are managed responsibly. In 2023, the company further strengthened its green credentials by investing in 320 solar panels, significantly reducing its carbon footprint and improving energy efficiency across its operations.
Investing in people
Alongside its investment in facilities and technology, Arcoframe has always placed people at the heart of the business. Many of its team members have developed their careers within the company. Jonathan Hill, for example, joined at just 16 years old in 2003, starting out in sales order processing. Today, he is a director overseeing the full day-to-day running of the company.
Similarly, the expertise of industry veteran Val Featherstone has added considerable value to the business. With more than 24 years’ experience in the profile bending industry, she joined Arcoframe three years ago and now manages quotations, sales order processing and customer care, liaising directly with the company’s expanding customer base.
With a solid reputation, a loyal workforce, and continued investment in technology and sustainability, Arcoframe has achieved an enviable position in the UK fenestration sector. Its growth over the past 22 years is testament to a simple formula: quality products, dedicated staff, and a genuine commitment to customer service.
As the business looks ahead, one thing remains certain – Arcoframe’s ability to adapt, innovate, and deliver will keep it firmly at the forefront of its industry.
