Strength in numbers

Andy Ball, managing director at Balls2 Marketing, reflects on a decade of helping companies to grow.

March 9, 2021, marked 10 years since the start of the Balls2 Marketing business journey. It has been a great opportunity for me, Sarah and the team to reflect on the successes of the last decade, but also to put new plans in place for our next steps.

One key achievement for us in the last 10 years was pivoting our focus to become a full-service agency with a consistent focus on business strategy and messaging. Our strong PR emphasis is crucial to this. With fantastic support from our in-house designers, digital marketers and social media gurus, our account managers work closely with clients to deliver marketing messages that achieve their business goals.

From installer support schemes to the most memorable events, our focus is always on how we can achieve the best results for our vibrant, profitable brands and clients. I think the key lesson we have all learned over the past decade is the real power of collaboration and, by building fantastic relationships with clients, talking to them regularly and becoming immersed in the day-to-day workings of their business, we create the best new ideas and opportunities.

It’s through these long-term successful relationships that we achieve the best results for companies, and it’s so rewarding for me when I hear clients talking about our team as part of their team, because that’s exactly what we aim for.

Balls2 Marketing is now a team of 13 and we’ve outgrown the Old Chapel HQ of 10 years, so we’re moving to purpose-built offices closer to Derby city centre, and we can’t wait until we’re able to welcome clients back to base in person, for a coffee and a good chat about what’s next.
