There will be mud
AluFoldDirect’s sales and marketing manager Chris Stretten is tackling the north west Tough Mudder on September 7, raising money for Claire House Children’s Hospice in Bebington, Wirral.
The Tough Mudder challenge, held at Cholmondeley Castle, consists of a 10-mile run and 25 obstacles, which participants take on in teams. Chris has only given himself five weeks to train and prepare but is looking forward to the challenge.
“As I completed the Tough Mudder challenge in 2017, I know exactly what I’m letting myself in for,” Chris said. “It will be hard going, but it’s a great laugh too.”
Chris has a fundraising target of £500 for Claire House Children’s Hospice, which helps seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full with specialist nursing care, fun experiences and emotional support.
“Claire House is amazing,” Chris said. “They offer care and support for children and their families in the darkest of times, so I’ve chosen them as my charity to raise a bit of extra cash to help them continue their incredible work.”
