Taking 39 for the team

Quickslide has taken on 39 new members of staff since April.

The new recruits have filled positions in all areas of the company, including three sales account managers and 26 fabricators. The cohort is a combination of individuals both from within, and outside of the industry – a deliberate move in a quest to ensure continuous improvement, the company said.

Managing director Ben Weber, said: “Bringing in so many new faces could have been a challenge, but our employees have settled into life at Quickslide brilliantly.

“It was a conscious decision to look for individuals who aren’t so familiar with glazing, as in many cases it is the transferrable skills and personalities, not their knowledge, which makes them compatible. In order for us to continually move forward and remain one of the leading providers of our products, it’s important that we consider how the team blends together and where strengths lie.”

Among those joining Quickslide is Sandra Berg, an ex-employee who took time out of her marketing role to travel. Returning as marketing manager, she is responsible for upholding the brand credentials of Quickslide, and maintaining a two-way dialogue between the company and its installer customers.

“I missed Quickslide while I was away,” Sandra said. “I feel like I’m not just employed by them, but by all our customers, too. Now I’ve come back into the fold, the goal is to continue building up the trusted relationship we have with our Quickslide community and supporting their unwavering expertise.”
