Support for children’s cancer
As part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Hörmann UKcontinued to fundraise for its Charity of the Year, CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families.
On September 23-27, Hörmann UK donated £50 to the charity for every Sectional door and RollMatic door purchased, as well as its Industrial SPU 42 and Industrial SB Roller Shutter.
David O’Mara, marketing manager at Hörmann UK, said: “This summer we proudly announced CLIC Sargent was our charity of the year and have since taken part in a variety of events to raise vital funds to help families tackle the challenges that battling cancer brings.
“Throughout Cancer Awareness Month we hosted our ‘Office Olympics’ challenges at our headquarters in Coalville, Leicester, working with our 142 employees to raise money, alongside our door sales donation. We are extremely proud to be an official supporter of CLIC Sargent, which supports over 7,000 people a year.”
Hörmann UK has a number of fundraising incentives arranged for the remainder of the year as part of its 40th anniversary, including a rugby world cup sweepstake and office tuck shop.
