New technical director
Andrew Charlesworth has been promoted to technical director for Profine UK and Kömmerling, having been with the business since July 2014.
More recently, he has added to his department to help support customers and to implement a new five-year product management plan for the business.
They are John Berry, Steve Holloway, Tony Ward and Simon Coleman who, combined, have over 166 years’ experience in the industry between them.
Internally the R&D/product management function is supported by Phil Brown along with Kevin Wain as lead designer, with a further graduate vacancy in the department yet to be filled. One of the key objectives from a design perspective will be to develop WarmCore into a complete and fully integrated product platform for the Profine Group as a whole, who are already looking at export opportunities in other key markets.
Andrew Charlesworth, technical director of Profine UK and Kömmerling, said: “It’s a genuine privilege to be appointed technical director for a business that’s now one of the largest in the UK sector and a strong global brand in all markets. We’ve got a five-year product management plan in place now which I’m genuinely excited about as we look to build the business further in the UK and through export opportunities.”
