New places and new faces

Maco UK has made a number of appointments and promotions over the last six months, including: Ashley Smith, Glenn Trevelyan, Mark Enderby, Leon Gayle and Andy Kay.

Leon Gayle, a member of the Maco UK team for nearly six years, has taken on the new role of business development manager.

“With new markets emerging and innovative Maco solutions on the horizon, I am very much looking forward to an exciting year of opportunity and success in my new role,” Leon said. “The quality of product and people at Maco is second to none and continually improving, UK at Fensterbau Frontale in March so am very much looking forward to demonstrating why Maco are leaders in innovative, quality solutions for the fenestration market and how we can help you achieve your goals for growth.”

Ashley Smith is the new product manager, who said “this is a very exciting time to be working with an industry leader”.

Andy Kay has moved into the new role of distribution sales manager.

“I’ve had face-to-face contact at fabricator level for almost 20 years and understand how important it is for Maco UK to have good working relationships with our distribution partners,” he said. “I see my role as being the liaison point between the Maco UK sales team and our distribution partners, giving guidance and support to both sides.”

Mark Enderby, who has experience in multimedia and digital marketing, has joined as marketing executive.

“Maco UK is the best in industry in so many ways and, with our Innovative products and systems, it makes my job of marketing them really interesting and creative,” he said.

Glenn Trevelyan is the new north regional sales manager.

“Having worked in the window industry for over 30 years I have experience in all areas of window and door manufacturing,” he said. “This knowledge I think will be a key part of my new position at Maco UK.
