New ops director
Central Window Systems has appointed Matthew Kelly as its new operations director for the company’s PVCU division.
With qualifications in engineering and lean project management, Matthew joins the Midlands-based fabricator with 15 years of strategic management, operational expertise and sales experience behind him.
Before joining Central, he spent seven years as the executive plant manager at Pollard Windows in Ontario, Canada, a window fabricator making up to 4,000 frames and 6,000 glass units per week.
Now, Matthew is in charge of overseeing the company’s PVCU division, ensuring smooth operation and a seamless transition from order to delivery.
He has also played a vital role in implementing Central’s additional work shift, which has seen a significant increase in capacity. Further, it has led to shorter lead times and greater customer satisfaction.
“The company has an impressive product portfolio to offer, which is boosted by excellent customer service, and I’ve been honoured to join the business and use my experience in lean project management to help take it even further,” Matthew said.
