New marketing head

Kirsten Bolton is SolarFrame’s new head of marketing.

Kirsten has worked in marketing leadership roles for over 20 years, 10 of which have been in the manufacturing/engineering sector.

Her most recent role was as the marketing director for Willerby, the UK’s largest manufacturer of static caravans. Prior to that she led the marketing function at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing.

Recognised for her leadership and marketing skills, she was placed on the Financial Times top 100 Most Influential Women in Engineering (UK and Europe) in 2019.

Also joining the team is Natalie Grimshaw as digital marketing manager. Natalie has worked in marketing for 15 years and worked for companies such as Shell and 50Five, a smart home solutions company.

Kirsten and Natalie join Nikki Dunbar, SolarFrame’s marketing and communications manager. Nikki has been in post for just under a year and has already got eight years of industry experience under her belt, having previously worked at Liniar/HL Plastics and Balls2Marketing.

Group managing director Steve Taylor said: “We have got to the point where we want to shake things up, challenge the norm and grow our brand’s presence in the UK. We cannot ignore the changing needs of the consumer and Kirsten, along with the rest of the team, bring an alternative viewpoint and the business acumen to make that happen.”
