New manager

GAP has appointed Richard Lee as group window and roof manager.

The appointment comes as GAP reported that sales across depots are healthy, with exceptional performances for all manufactured brands including Homeline Building Products, Rockdoor and HomeFrame Windows.

Richard, who has worked in the window industry for over 35 years, brings with him a wealth of expertise that will allow GAP to further improve its PVCU window offering to customers, the company said.

Richard said: “Being able to join GAP has been fantastic, especially at a time when the company is looking to the future. It’s clear they are ready to move forward and invest in their business and I’m looking forward to playing my part in their next phase of growth.”

Richard will take full responsibility within the business for the in-house manufactured PVCU windows, together with all external specialist glazing and conservatory roofs sold through its depot network.

Charles Greensmith, GAP’s co-founder, said: “We have grown our window division very successfully over recent years, but we feel now is the time to step up our operation to further improve the service we can offer our customers. Richards experience within a major fabricator will prove pivotal to helping us make the next step and we look forward to the coming months and years ahead.”
