New fundraising member

GM Fundraising has welcomed Clare O’Hara, divisional managing director of Epwin Window Systems, as an official member of the fundraising team.

Gary Morton, founder of GM Fundraising, said: “Clare has been supporting GM Fundraising in an unofficial capacity since 2017. She initiated Paddle2Pedal, the first fenestration industry event for women, and was the driving force in supporting the team of 12 ladies raise over £100,000 for Hope House Children’s Hospices, our nominated charity.

“We are delighted to welcome Clare to the team. She brings with her a passion to support GM Fundraising’s ethos of putting on great events to raise money and make a difference, as well as the support of her team at Epwin Window Systems.”

Clare said: “I have always been humbled by the extraordinary support Hope House offers. When the opportunity to join GM Fundraising in a more official capacity was suggested, I didn’t have to think twice. GM Fundraising’s ambition is to have raised £2 million by 2020 and I am excited to be part of the team dedicated to achieving this.”

GM Fundraising raises around £130,000 every year for Hope House Children’s Hospices in Oswestry and Conwy, raising much needed funds for terminally ill children and their families and having fun in the process.
