Glass Times hosts Epsom Race Day

Hundreds of people were welcomed to the Glass Times magazine race day at Epsom Down last week. It was another fantastic event, following on from the traditional Haydock meeting earlier this year, and along with the hospitality and racing, it was great to catch up with so many industry friends and colleagues.
We will have a full report on the day in the October issue of Glass Times, and we also have dates in the diary for next year’s Haydock and Epsom races, which are going to be held on 4th July and 12th September respectively.
To secure your place, call Andy Westhead on 07966 468772 or email andy@glasstimes.co.uk.
In other news, I was fortunate enough to interview Will Gold, CEO of Customade recently. Will, who was appointed in his current role just 12 months ago, spoke candidly about the state of play at Customade, and also provided some insight into how things might play out for the industry in the coming months.
He revealed that aluminium sales are doing well, and that energy efficient products remain a strong driver for sales in the home improvement sector. He also said that while installers are having to work harder to win sales, post pandemic, he remains optimistic for the future and said Customade’s breadth of product range, and its service offering, would deliver to continue plenty of opportunities.
You can read the exclusive, full interview with Will in the November issue of Glass Times.
