Debate and tonic
The Glazing Summit’s gala dinner will provide the perfect tonic to a day of discussion and debates, the organisers have said, with comedian Simon Evans providing the after-dinner speech.
The dinner, sponsored by Unique Window Systems, takes place in the Edgbaston Banqueting Suite, and will feature a champagne drinks’ reception, three-course gala dinner, and private bar.
Simon is familiar from TV appearances on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow, and Channel 4’s Stand Up for the Week, and his BBC Radio 4 series Simon Evans Goes to Market.
Andrew Scott, Glazing Summit founder, said: “We have had some wonderful after dinner speakers in the past but this year we wanted to mix it up and provide guests with the chance to have an evening of fun and laughter after what has been a hugely challenging 18 months for everyone connected with the industry.
“Simon’s live tour shows and festival appearances are legendary, and on the corporate and after dinner circuit he’s well-known for providing evenings that descend into laughter.”
The Glazing Summit returns on Thursday, October 21 at Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre, Birmingham.
Dinner guests will enjoy a champagne reception sponsored by ODL from 7pm and it will be carriages at midnight. Individual tickets are £149.00+VAT, or tables of eight are £1,100.00+VAT.
