MD steps down
Andy Jones has stepped down as group managing director at Victorian Sliders to pursue new opportunities.
It follows a period of rapid growth for the PVCU sash window supplier, which has recently added over 50 new staff to cope with demand for its ECOSlide sash window.
Andy said: “Since my appointment as group MD in 2019 we have embarked on an investment strategy that has enabled us to scale the business rapidly, and we have seen a real transformation during that time and we’re on track for 70% growth.
“However, the nature of the role and location requires a regular 500 mile round-trip and so it is time for me to explore new challenges and opportunities. I leave the business in great shape and on a rapid growth trajectory.”
Victorian Sliders is a vertically integrated PVC-U sash manufacturer with in-house extrusion, glass processing, manufacturing and recycling, operating from a 250,000ft2 site in south Wales and a number of major distribution hubs across the UK and Ireland.
