Rebranding

Deko Scotland has rebranded itself as Indeglas, Danish for ‘inside glass’.

The rebranded business, which traded as Deko Scotland for 17 years, was launched before a 100-strong audience representing a range of leading UK construction businesses at the Glasgow City College Riverside Campus.

The Riverside Campus building was nominated for the Riba Stirling Prize, and its interior glass system was designed and built by Indeglas.

Founder and managing director Jeanette MacIntyre told her audience that taking the company’s hard-won knowledge and contacts acquired from its long-term relationship with glass manufacturer Deko of Denmark, and re-launching as Indeglas, was a natural progression for the Cumbernauld based company.

“Indeglas is our way of reflecting our deep respect for the well-recognised and successful Danish design philosophy ‘form follows function’, while allowing a distinct brand to come to the fore,” she said. “I want Indeglas to be the name on everyone’s lips in the construction industry when it comes to internal glass applications.”
