New facade certification scheme
Wintech Testing and Certification has introduced the WinMark Certification scheme for the Performance of Curtain Walling and Rainscreen Cladding products.
“This new scheme makes us the first and only company in the UK to offer both CWCT weathertightness testing and certification of these products,” the organisation said in a release.
“We have been working closely with the NHBC to ensure that our WinMark scheme can be used to demonstrate compliance with NHBC Standards 2017.”
In response, NHBC said: “NHBC welcomes the development of the WinMark certification scheme, which we believe will be useful in demonstrating compliance with NHBC Standards Chapter 6.9 Curtain walling and cladding.”
The scheme is available throughout the UK and Europe to organisations specialising in the fabrication of curtain walling, brickslip cladding and rainscreen systems.
