Kawneer joins Qualicoat
Kawneer has been welcomed into membership of Qualicoat and awarded licence number ‘1022’.
Kawneer has been powder coating profiles at their Runcorn premises for almost 40 years and it is with the growing number of UK specifications for the Qualicoat Standard that the company has quickly responded to.
Managing director Phil Randles said: “Following our substantial investment earlier this year in upgrading our paint line pre-treatment to chrome free, and seeing the growing influence of Qualicoat, we felt it was time to adopt the standard and apply for a license. Our modern plant and processes needed little modification and we are pleased that we can now promote the use of Qualicoat or Qualicoat ‘Seaside’ standard for all our powder coated finishes.”
Architects are turning to Qualicoat for powder coating specification as the standard is constantly being kept up to date with new technology and extensive research undertaken by its members.
