The company said the Genesis VS represented a huge investment for a small company at the time but the FIT show was the perfect place for Bison to showcase its new concept.
The success of the Genesis VS over the last five years has given birth to the growing ‘Genesis Collection’, which now includes the New Genesis Flush Sash and Patio 24.
The Genesis Collection’s marketing message – “It’s the attention to detail that makes the difference” – highlights the need for quality products in today’s marketplace, according to Mark Tetley, director at Bison Frames, who explains the benefits of the company’s value-added products.
The vertical slider, flush casement, bifold door and the new generation of sliding patios have become an essential part of most installers’ portfolios, attracting attention from the heritage and replacement markets but in more recent times has seen a larger uptake in new build developments and self-build projects.

The features include a mechanically jointed construction to both outer frame and sash, a beautifully symmetrical design, a 28mm Georgian astragal bar option, complemented by our specially selected range of traditional and contemporary ironmongery.
While the window’s aesthetics may reflect the 19th century, the technological innovations are certainly from the 21st century. With 28mm double glazed units as standard and a 40mm tripled glazed option, the window can achieve an A+ thermal efficiency rating and offers superb weather performance and noise reduction. It has a unique night vent facility to provide discreet ventilation. Multipoint locking comes as standard and is also available in PAS24 approved and Document Q compliant versions.
As part of the Genesis Collection, the new Genesis Flush Sash will do for the flush casement market what the Genesis Vertical Slider is still doing for the VS market. It will raise the bar in terms of design quality and innovation.
