Growth prompts recruitment drive

David Salisbury is looking to expand its workforce, hiring for a number of positions across the residential and commercial sides of its business.

The hardwood conservatories, garden rooms and orangeries specialist recently welcomed a new customer account manager, with immediate plans to hire a second to join its growing customer service team.

The company is also looking for a 3D CAD technician to join the team, using graphic editing software to produce sales concept presentations for customers as well as technical drawings for production.

Other roles being advertised include a class 2 driver, a service technician, and a bench joiner. David Salisbury is also searching for additional sales and design consultants for its joinery.

The recruitment drive comes following a 115% year-on-year growth in sales over the past six months, as well as a record order book. Alongside receiving its largest ever individual order this year, David Salisbury also completed its biggest commercial project to date: the manufacture and installation of a new orangery for G7 Summit venue, Carbis Bay Hotel and Estate.

Karen Bell, creative director at David Salisbury, said: “We’re thrilled to be in a position to expand our team. It’s been an extremely busy year for the company, and we’re keen to build on this growth with new talent across a range of areas and experience levels.”
