Charity ride
A team of 20 cycling enthusiasts from IG Doors has completed a 55-mile ride from Brecon to Cardiff Bay in aid of Cancer Research Wales.
What started as a chat over a few social beers quickly developed into a full-on exercise and a cast of 20 ranging from just eights years old all the way to 62.
Eight-year-old Liam Taylor joined the ride for the last 26 miles and raised over £1,000 in his own right, while Bob Challenger completed the full 55 miles despite not having ridden a bike for over 20 years.
The day was a special day for all those who took part, building a sense of teamwork and camaraderie, and a sense of being a part of something special not just for the riders, but the many support staff who gave up their time to make it happen.
Suppliers Bridgetime and ACE glazed products provided the transport and refreshments.
