Raising the bar
Barbara Zogornik is the newly appointed quality assurance manager at Mila.
An MSc qualified metallurgist and ISO9001 quality management systems lead auditor, Barbara’s most recent experience was with a materials testing facility which serves the nuclear, oil and gas, steel and aerospace industries.
She joined the business just weeks before it sailed through its most recent ISO9001 quality audit with no issues identified.
Barbara said: “Mila clearly has a very strong quality management team in place and impressively robust systems and processes – as demonstrated by the fact that there has actually only been one observation identified in its last three ISO9001 audits.
“My mission will be to maintain these standards of course, but also to look at ways in which we can work even more closely with customers and respond to any feedback. I want customers to continue seeing Mila as the ‘go to’ place for sourcing quality hardware but also to understand how we are constantly raising the bar.”
