Complete recycled solution

Grosvenor Windows removed, recycled and replaced 160 windows for a respected Macclesfield housing association.

Working with Veka and Veka Recycling, Grosvenor not only recycled the old frames, but also installed recycled Veka systems into Arcon’s Fir Court development.

Grosvenor Windows’ Dominic Mills said: “We’ve worked with Arcon Housing Association a number of times before. They know the quality of our work is top notch – both fabrication and installation – and that the systems we provide meet all the relevant specification requirements.

“For this project, we used Veka’s Infinity recycled system, which the client was very impressed with. It has a core of up to 80% recycled PVCU and then a skin of virgin polymer to ensure it looks exactly like new. This means it has all the same benefits as brand new frames when it comes to style, weather performance, security, energy efficiency etc – but it also ticks a very important box for sustainability.”

Arcon’s building surveyor David Hutchinson said: “The Veka windows that have been fitted are excellent quality, aesthetically pleasing, and provide our tenants with warmer more efficient homes.”
