Recognised for innovation and workplace ethos

Rehau has been recognised by the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for its products and its commitment to health and wellbeing in the workplace.

The polymer manufacturer was named on the shortlist in the two categories for the business awards, and winners will be announced at the Annual Awards Ceremony this summer.

Cultural development at Rehau is highlighted with its Evolve Rehau programme, which aims to make staff feel more empowered and happier within their working life.

Other implemented workplace schemes include a running/walking route around the headquarters at Ross, a pedometer challenge in October 2017, employee discounts, and initiatives such as low calorie options in the staff canteen and fundraisers including a Three Peaks Challenge being undertaken by dozens of staff members later this year.

Martin Hitchin, chief executive of Rehau UK, said: “This is important to us as it reflects the great innovation we strive for continuously at Rehau, but also shines a light on how we work as a business to ensure our staff are healthy and their wellbeing is taken care of.”
