Masco’s Wayne Devine steps down

Wayne Devine, has announced his decision to step down after 28 years as CEO of the Masco UK Window Group.

Darius Padler, Masco Group vice president, will take the CEO role for the UK Window Group while a successor is found.

As the founder of the business, Wayne served as CEO following its acquisition in 2000 by the Masco Corporation.

Over the years, the company has become one of the UK’s largest PVCU window and door fabricators, supplying doors, windows and conservatories to fabricators and installers across all market sectors from its multiple manufacturing sites across the UK.

Its brands include Phoenix Doors, Duraflex, Techniglass, Premier and Evolution.

Steve Forbes, Masco vice president HR Europe, said: “Wayne has decided that now is the right time to step down, for both personal and business reasons. We are grateful for Wayne’s years of service and his utmost dedication to realising the operating and strategic objectives as well as his commitment to Masco.

“The functional leadership of the business remains unchanged as does our commitment to serve our expanding customer base with quality products and services. It’s very much business as usual.”
